360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a leading player in the hotel and hospitality industry, dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences and creating memorable moments for their patrons.
We are currently seeking a qualified Controller/Director of Finance for their offices in Florence, KY. The Controller/Director of Finance will play a critical role in managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial stability and growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to contribute to the success and continued growth of our organization.

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate and timely information to management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and mitigate financial risk.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads and senior management to develop realistic financial plans and targets.
- Conduct variance analysis and performance evaluations to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax obligations.
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, supporting operational initiatives and strategic projects.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Controller or Finance Director with at least 3 years of experience within the hotel/hospitality industry overseeing multiple locations/properties.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and internal controls specific to the hotel/hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems; experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and best practices in financial management.
