360 Talent Avenue is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Early Childhood Substitute Teacher for a well-established private Jewish school in Brooklyn, NY.

Pay Range: $50K - $60K per year, depending on experience and position.
What you’ll do:
- Lead instructional and classroom management processes while maintaining high-level care and educational standards in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Follow and teach lesson plans provided by the Lead Teacher.
- Prepare in advance by studying course material when possible.
- Assist students in developing a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
- Utilize classroom and behavior management techniques to foster an effective and positive learning environment.
- Build relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community.
- Ensure all class responsibilities and project deadlines are met.
- Provide the Lead Teacher with a detailed report on lessons, activities, and class behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or an Allegra Franco certificate in place of a Bachelor’s degree, accepted for certain substitute positions).
- Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience.
- Experience in early childhood education.
- Knowledge of the Hebrew language, Jewish holidays, and customs (required for some substitute positions).
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding student, staff, and parent information.
