360 Talent Avenue has partnered with a private Jewish preschool located in Brooklyn, NY to hire an Early Childhood Instructional Leader. You can be part of this team of passionate, professional faculty and staff, working to develop a Reggio-inspired school, in a supportive and creative community.
This position is a direct hire with our client.
Pay Range: $80K - $85K per year, depending upon experience and position.
What you’ll do:
As an Early Childhood Instructional Leader, you will provide hands-on instructional support, and coach teaching teams in and out of the classroom environment.
- Lead teaching teams in the areas of planning, lesson plan review, curriculum goals, instruction, and classroom management
- Demonstrate guided practice within age-appropriate curriculum incorporating skills development for math, science, literacy, and social/emotional learning
- Model best practice in instruction, time management, and language and material use
- Provide constructive feedback to teachers to foster learning and growth
- Stay current on academic research in the field of early childhood education and bring new ideas to the team
Requirements:
- Master’s degree
- 3+ years experience as a Lead Teacher
- Experience in early childhood education Judaic studies
- Knowledge of Hebrew language and Jewish holidays and customs
- Collaborative work philosophy with strong leadership skills
- Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new skills/software quickly
