360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a Madison, WI -based firm specializing in tax advisory services to place a Senior Tax Manager with LIHTC experience. The Senior Tax Manager will play a key role in providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to our clients, with a focus on LIHTC projects.
This position is a direct hire with our client.
What you’ll need:
- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to LIHTC, including IRS Code Section 42 and related guidance.
- Active CPA
- Bachelor’s in accounting/finance
- Minimum of 5 years Tax Management experience
- QuickBooks, CCH & MS Office
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex tax projects and delivering results within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff members.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals in delivering high-quality tax services to clients, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and advice on tax matters related to LIHTC projects; prepare and review tax returns.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of tax returns, financial statements, and other relevant documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax benefits and minimize liabilities for clients engaged in LIHTC investments.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations affecting LIHTC projects and advise clients accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and development, to ensure alignment and coordination on tax-related matters.
