Are you a motivated Diesel Mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel-powered CDL tractors? Join our clients dynamic team in Lakeville, MA, where your skills will ensure their crews have safe and reliable equipment. Our client is looking for a hands-on professional ready to tackle challenging repairs, troubleshoot complex issues, and keep our fleet in top shape.
What You'll Do:
- Perform Repairs: Handle electrical, hydraulic, air brake, and mechanical repairs with precision.
- Preventive Maintenance: Ensure all equipment runs smoothly with routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot: Diagnose and solve issues quickly to keep operations running.
- Parts & Tools: Identify necessary parts and tools for each assignment.
- Paperwork: Complete shop forms and service requests accurately.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Road Calls: Be ready to go on the road when necessary.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years working on heavy-duty Tractors, Trailers, Class A, B, and C equipment.
- Tools: Must provide your own tools.
- Skills: Welding experience is a plus. Strong aptitude with hand tools, computer skills for scanning tools, and filling out forms.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
- Qualifications: DOT medical card, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
Work Details:
- Shift: Monday to Friday.
- Location: Based in Lakeville, MA
- Job Type: Full-time, in-person role.
- Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.
