360 Talent Avenue is seeking an experienced and dedicated Part-Time General Studies Teacher to join a well-established Jewish school in Brooklyn, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a passionate team of educators who are committed to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

The school follows the Jewish calendar and is closed during the summer, providing a structured and balanced schedule.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and maintain a dynamic classroom environment that promotes hands-on learning, self-expression, inclusion, and collaboration.
• Develop lesson plans that support active and meaningful learning while ensuring a high standard of education.
• Communicate regularly with parents and school counselors regarding student progress and development.
• Evaluate student growth and performance, providing constructive feedback and assessments.
• Foster and reinforce Jewish values such as kindness, respect, compassion, and integrity in daily lessons and interactions.
• Engage in school activities, including PTA meetings and student clubs, to support the broader school community.

What You Bring:

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
• State certification and/or teaching license in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience (preference given to candidates with experience in early childhood or elementary education).
• Strong ability to create engaging, student-centered lesson plans that encourage critical thinking and creativity.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
