CDL A Driver - Home on Weekends
Are you a skilled CDL-A driver with a passion for education and trade careers? Join our client’s team as a Simulator Truck Driver and play a vital role in bringing education to students across Arkansas about exciting opportunities in the skilled trades! We are seeking a dedicated professional who enjoys engaging with students and promoting career pathways in the trades industry. This is a direct hire role with our client.
Pay: $65,000-$70,000 + Per Diem + Expenses

What you’ll do:
- Safely operate a simulator truck (CDL-A / 53’) to travel to schools and educational events across Arkansas.
- Partner with Brand Ambassador, setting up interactive demonstrations using the simulator equipment used to educate students about trade careers.
- Engage with students of all ages, answering questions and sparking interest in various trade professions.
- Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to coordinate visit schedules and logistics.
- Represent the organization professionally and positively in all interactions with students, educators, and community members.
- Maintain and ensure the safety and functionality of the simulator truck and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid CDL Class A (CDL-A) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 2+ years' experience driving commercial vehicles and operating specialized equipment.
- Tech savvy
- Passion for education and promoting career pathways in the trades industry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Flexibility to travel extensively within AR Mon-Fri and adapt to varying school schedules.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
