Director of Marketing
360 Talent Avenue is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead branding, communications, and engagement efforts for a well-established private Jewish school in Brooklyn, NY. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the school’s brand, drive enrollment, and strengthen community engagement. The Director will oversee digital and print communications, social media, advertising, and event marketing to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with the school’s mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Brand Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase visibility and drive enrollment.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communications, materials, and platforms.
- Collaborate with school leadership to develop messaging that aligns with the school’s mission and values.
Digital & Social Media Management
- Create and execute social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Manage website content and digital advertising to optimize engagement and outreach.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and improve effectiveness.
Content Creation & Public Relations
- Develop marketing and promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, and press releases.
- Write and edit content for external communications, including website updates and email campaigns.
- Establish relationships with media outlets and manage public relations efforts.
Enrollment & Community Engagement
- Work closely with the admissions team to develop recruitment marketing strategies.
- Support school events through promotional efforts, ensuring strong attendance and engagement.
- Foster relationships with parents, alumni, and the broader community to strengthen brand awareness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing leadership, preferably in education or nonprofit sectors.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and social media strategy.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, marketing automation tools, and content management systems.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with website management (WordPress preferred) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Jewish community and culture is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
