Agronomy Manager
Location Agronomy Manager | Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers
Location: Brunswick, MO
Job Type: Full-Time | $50,000 – $70,000
This position is being recruited by 360 Talent Avenue on behalf of Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers.
This facility runs because of you. And you will know it.
Some people want to manage people. Others want to run an operation — to own the process, keep the wheels turning, and be the person the whole team depends on to have things ready when it matters. If that second description sounds like you, keep reading.
Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers is a farmer-owned cooperative that has served Missouri agriculture since 1931. We provide grain, agronomy, precision ag, insurance, energy, and feed solutions to the growers who are the lifeblood of this region. Behind every successful season at our Mayview location is an agronomy operation that runs clean, stays stocked, and keeps the applicators moving. That is the role we are hiring for.
As our Location Agronomy Manager you will be the person who makes sure the facility operates at its best — every day, every season.
What running this operation actually means:
You will oversee inventory so product is always where it needs to be, coordinate applicator scheduling so no customer is left waiting, maintain equipment so nothing breaks down at the worst possible time, and make sure every record — billing, applications, compliance — is accurate and current. You will work closely with our sales agronomy team to make sure the operational side never becomes a bottleneck for the customer side.
You will direct applicator activity and set the standard for how this facility runs. The people around you will look to you to know what good looks like.
You are the right fit if:
- You have a strong working knowledge of agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and plant life cycles
- You have experience managing agronomy or agricultural operations and know what a well-run facility looks like
- You are highly organized and detail oriented — inventory discrepancies, scheduling gaps, and compliance lapses simply do not happen on your watch
- You are comfortable owning a facility independently without needing a lot of direction
- Relevant education or certification in agronomy or a related field is preferred
We are committed to building a more diverse team and strongly encourage women and candidates from all backgrounds to apply. Agriculture needs more voices at the table and we mean that.
What is in it for you:
- Salary of $50,000 to $70,000 depending on your experience
- 401(k) with a 4% company match plus a pension plan
- Real autonomy — this is your operation to run
- The backing of a cooperative that has been trusted by Missouri farmers for over 80 years and is still growing
This is a role for someone who takes ownership seriously and finds satisfaction in an operation that runs exactly the way it should. If that is you — we want to talk.
