About the Role

360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a growing and well-established organization to identify a Staff Accountant for a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, values accuracy, and is eager to grow within a collaborative finance team.

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll support core accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, and the month-end close process. Working closely with the Controller and finance leadership, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while helping streamline accounting processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable, including invoice review, vendor reconciliations, and timely payments
• Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash application, statements, and reconciliations
• Support collections activities while maintaining positive customer relationships
• Assist with the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Reconcile balance sheet and selected income statement accounts monthly
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with accounting standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve billing, payment, and accounting discrepancies
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with AP, AR, collections, and month-end close
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with experience using QuickBooks preferred
• CPA or CPA-eligible status is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively
