Operations Manager
Are you a hands-on leader with integrity and a sharp eye for detail? We’re seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and elevate portable restroom services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for daily routing, inventory management, staff supervision, compliance, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. The Operations Manager drives timely, sanitary, cost-effective, and safety-focused delivery and servicing of portable restrooms for job sites and events across the region.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee daily operations of the portable restroom division, including dispatch, service scheduling, deliveries, and pickups.
- Ensure compliance with all Company, local, state, and Federal health and environmental regulations and policies.
- Manage inventory, cleaning standards, maintenance, and deployment of all portable restrooms and sanitation units.
- Lead a team of drivers, service technicians, and support staff—allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting training.
- Implement and uphold standard operating procedures to ensure cleanliness, safety, and service consistency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, resolving service issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Oversee maintenance and readiness of all service trucks, trailers, pumping equipment, and cleaning materials.
- Assist upper management with planning, budgeting, reporting, and business development strategies related to sanitation operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, especially event planning, traffic control, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination.
- Ensure employee compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Participate in recruiting, coaching, and disciplining staff as needed.
- Monitor and update event dates and deployment schedules; ensure sufficient staffing for high-demand periods.
- Maintain accurate service logs, work orders, and inspection reports.
- Work in concert with all departments.
- Maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Attend meetings and/or training classes as directed by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Associate degree or higher preferred; equivalent combination of education and/or relevant industry experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in operations, logistics, sanitation, waste management, or a related field.
- Nevada Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- At least 25 years of age.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to use personal computer and hand-held applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Work cooperatively with others, exemplifying excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to read, write, and comprehend instructions and information in English.
- Ability to work flexible shifts/hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, at varying locations.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast pace and high-volume environment with attention to detail.
- Must present a professional, friendly image and appearance.
- Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including extremes of hot or cold in addition to wet environments.
- Job requires the following motions: climbing, stooping, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, occasionally lifting; up to 75 pounds, stretching, sitting, walking on uneven ground and stairs.
